Appointment of the Vice President for Research and Technology as an Invited Collaborator of the Academy of Sciences

Prof. Asghar Asgari, Vice President for Research and Technology at the University of Tabriz, Appointed as an Invited Collaborator of the Basic Sciences Division of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Tabriz, Prof. Asghar Asgari, Professor of Physics at the University of Tabriz, has been appointed as an Invited Collaborator of the Basic Sciences Division of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This appointment was made upon the recommendation of the Head of the Basic Sciences Division and the approval of the Scientific Council, through an official decree issued by Dr. Mohammad Reza Mokhber Dezfouli, President of the Academy.

The appointment was confirmed during the 568th session of the Scientific Council, held on May 17, 2025, and the term of this position has been set for two years.

Part of the official decree reads:
"In view of your academic merits and valuable experiences, it is hoped that, with trust in the Almighty and through constructive collaboration with other members of the division, you will be successful and effective in advancing the scientific and cultural goals of the Academy of Sciences."
